Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of PlumbingExam.ca (the "Service"), an online exam-preparation service for Ontario's Plumber 306A exam, operated by Jamie Klazinga ("we", "us", the "Seller"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms. You are contracting with Jamie Klazinga.

The Service

PlumbingExam.ca provides original practice questions, timed practice exams, study notes, flashcards, and an AI study helper focused on the Ontario Building Code's plumbing requirements. The Service is a study aid only: it is not affiliated with Skilled Trades Ontario or any government body, and it does not contain actual or recalled exam questions. We do not guarantee that you will pass any exam.

Your account

• You must be of legal age to enter a contract, or have a parent or guardian's permission.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
• Accounts are personal. Each account may be used on one device at a time and must not be shared with others.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service, including:

• Using the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive;
• Infringing anyone's intellectual property rights;
• Interfering with the Service's security, probing or scanning it, introducing malware, or scraping its content;
• Copying, reselling, redistributing, or republishing the questions, study notes, or other content;
• Reverse engineering the Service or circumventing technical limits such as the single-device rule;
• Sharing your account or access with any other person.

Intellectual property

We own the Service and all of its content, including the practice questions, study notes, software, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own personal study while your access is active. No other rights are granted.

Payments and subscriptions

Premium access is sold as a one-time purchase that grants access for the period stated at checkout (currently 6 months). It does not renew automatically. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Service level

We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Content may be updated, corrected, or removed at any time. Code references in the Service are study aids in plain language — always confirm requirements in the current edition of the Ontario Building Code.

Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including lost profits, lost data, or exam outcomes). Our total liability to you is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, death, or personal injury.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate these policies. When access ends, your right to use the Service ends; account data may be deleted after a reasonable period.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale of the business. We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
